Asrock Z490 Taichi and 10850k build

I notice that core speed keeps changing values, maybe this is normal ?
Ok, is this stable? Core speed should fluctuate slightly around 4800mhz.
Anyhow, you have dropped voltage from 1.33v so temps will be better now. You 'should' be able to drop voltage to 1.200v maybe less, although each 10850k is different.

Ok test and see if all is OK,

Thank you so much and for staying with me all this time :)

If you dont mind, I will encode the same bit of footage again for Handbrake and I will use core Temp again and post back here for you to see if there is a difference from the first time I posted the results :)

Ok all looking good!

Ok all looking good!

Ok so Im encoding the same footage again with your BIOS settings and using Core Temp.

What does this tell you? the encoding should take 45mins and its started about 20 mins now, so far its looks ok :) If you want to look at post #34 and compare.

Ok all looking good!

Encoding finished and the PC seemed to be OK,
One pic when PC had only 15 seconds left to encode and the other when encoding just finished.

How does this look? and thank you so much again

Looks better, weren't you getting up to 80c before?

Yes, I think i was or close to it, I souldnt be asking after all the help you give me, I think i can save this profile or setting in the bios.

Can I improve on the settings that you give me? If so, what would you suggest changing? :)

Thank you.

Yes is the answer, but it will be tral and error and take some time. If you are happy with these temps just stick with 4.8 @ 1.250v, if not yes, save this profile and lower voltage to say 1.220v for even lower temps and so on, BUT make sure you are 100% stable with each lowering of volts. I always write it down ;)
