How likely am I to get a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 at MSRP?

What resolution are you playing at? I'm on a 1080Ti and it easily hits 60fps at highest settings @ 1440p In WH2

I'm not playing at any resolution just yet as my 1080ti won't arrive until next week, those stats are just based off online benchmarking videos which seemed to average around 35 FPS at high setting for WH2 at 1080p with a 1080ti. That's great to hear you're able to play at 60 FPS 1440p, those benchmark videos must have been doing something different then. Is there anything specific you did to get such good performance? I'll be pairing with a Ryzen 5 3600 and SSD memory, I'm not sure if that will have a bearing on performance.

I'm currently shopping around for monitors and think I'll be going for a 1440p 144hz model of some sort (probably within the Gigabyte range).

Just to confirm we are on about the same game :p It's Total War: Warhammer 2 ? If so then yeah 60fps should be easily doable at 1440p.

The only setting I dont max out is Anti-Aliasing which I set to FXAA as MSAA will kill performance, which is probably the settings those youtube videos used.

Yes TW WH2 haha .. sounds good then! who knew a 5 year old GPU would keep me content.

Anyone reading this thread.. I mixed up the graphics card models .. I was actually only able to get a hold of a 1050ti not a 1080ti *facepalm

Mate i've mixed up the model numbers haha. So it is the 1050ti that I was able to get, that will explain the confusion here. XD

Whoops lol. Yeah I think you'll be stuck at 1080p resolution for now then :p

I managed around 50-60fps though with a laptop with a gtx 1060 at 1080p though, so a desktop 1050ti should be similar, just had to knock a few settings down, but most were on high.
