AMD 6500XT / 6600XT / 6700XT

Was hoping that AMD would have some cards on their store today to divert attention away from the 3060, but that's mission impossible it would seem since it looks like about 2 reference cards leave the factory per month and then go on to get sold in germany.

My Guess is:

6700XT $449
6700 $379

No idea what that is in £.

Actually no, i think i'm wrong about that, the 3060TI is £370

So with that in mind my guess is:

6700XT $349
6700 $299

It has to be, the 3060TI is as fast as a 2080 Super and i can't see the 6700XT being much if anything faster than that.

I ended up bagging a Xbox series x so I think I'm gonna stick with the 1070 until a time where it's easier and cheaper to upgrade:D

I did upgrade my pc I've gone from a 1700x 16gb ram system to a 5800x 64gb system

So I've still been able to spoil the pc

That leaves about a $200 gap from the 6800 and 6700xt at RRP.

I can't see them being anywhere near that low lol.

6800 is 840euro and up here.
these cards will cost 500-700euro or such.
Msrp is meaningless atm.
Market is simply out of normal and chaotic.

It does seem like it but I read somewhere that Ampere is vastly outselling Turing. So huge numbers must be shipping but they're disappearing somewhere.

The demand is artificial.
There's obviously miners taking a load, but yesterday we had like 8K people viewing single 3060's.

There's people who are literally just buying the cards with bots and then selling for profit.

It's not real demand.

But why are these resellers targeting only the graphics cards and nothing else?
It seems every other PC component is just fine?!

If there were no "real" demand the scalpers' graphics cards would collect dust with their inflated prices, but they don't.

If people didn't want the cards in the first place, they certainly wouldn't want them at higher prices.

Yet there was not a single 3000-series card on Amazon last night for *any* price. They were all gone.

It looks like there is some hidden/secret extremely large demand by big organisations and a much smaller secondary normal people who mine demand which take every last card that reaches the retail market.
