That's because EA knows they've got a monopoly on the market. We all love football and it's the only football game worth playing in terms of controlling your players. PES isn't competitive and they chuck legends at everyone in myClub.

I didn't play at the start of 21 but I've seen people say the gameplay was much better before the recent patches? The gameplay seems to be so bad now that streamers and content creators are pushing the menu grind rather than gameplay.

I really don't see the point in grinding for better cards if you know you're going to take Pele or someone into a match and still hate the game. That's exactly what happened to Nick28T the other day, grinding menus for weeks and then packs Pele from the base or mid SBC, uses him for a few games in champs and looks like he wants to end it all due to the BS.

Nick28T is another streamer I only like to watch to see them lose.

Sorry to hear about your red picks. At least they should be good during TOTS.

I do sorta think they should put the promo cards in red picks as TOTW is usually dead except for 1 or 2 players on a good week.

Well I don't really complain about the game that much, more around the player base and the whole randomness to everything but the biggest BS are the red picks each week, they have been an absolute joke. The last FIFA I had some ok luck, I say ok in that you could get a useable player. This FIFA the number of useable players is that small it's pointless and also the promos are poor so you can barely use any of the fodder.

It is frustrating as I love football games and don't mind the weekend league but from someone who doesn't put money into the game it would be nice to see reward for effort.

I find it funny that I never get a good red pick but every other team I play against had red neymar/messi/rashford or Ronaldo.

I'd say almost certainly.
Of course if they take like 3 months to get their upgrades they may be worth less then than they are now as they'll be so many other cards out and TOTS will be just around the corner. But I'd say it's almost certain that they'll be worth more when they get their upgrade than the few days before people know they'll get their upgrade (although based on Headliners last year prices will go up as they get close).
 
12-2 to 17-8, standard. I hate that feeling of knowing I'm going to have to play just to lose against elite 1/2 players when I'm not at that level.
