I'm a patient person who would advocate for deferred gratification. But this is testing my limits to breaking point.

Cheers though man I will try to gee up some positivity and stay calm. Just completely deflating to hit the skids after waiting so long and finally thinking the ordeal might be over.

I think anyone would be lying if they said their patience hasn't run out by now. It's just a joke.

I can see this situation improving soon though. By May I reckon things will be largely back to normal, and there should be normal prices/stock by June/July. It's only ever temporary, but this particular situation is painfully long.

Me too, thankfully. Duopolys are bound to create problems, imagine if Ford and Honda were the only car makers in the world and they both introduced the latest 'must have' models a month or so apart.... a 10 year old Fiesta would be 30k on Ebay lol.

Nope, OCUK has said in the email we got when this crap happened that we would move along in our queue as if nothing has changed but if our card does arrive that it will be kept aside for us when this whole situation is sorted.

I hope so, by my calculations, based on where I was in the queue when I stopped getting updates my card should be in the batch arriving this week. Then again it's very hard to judge without weekly position updates when you factor in RMAs, people who are also on hold in front of you etc. Anyway, shouldn't be long now and I'd rather it was OC holding my card than it bouncing around with DPD while they figure themselves out, or sitting in customs while they decide how much to gouge me for it.

As far as I know it's all just rumours still.
Although like the 3060 it makes sense to make the 3080ti as they could use 3090 cores that fail QC.

It makes me sad... I’m 11th for the eagle, still here checking for updates nearly everyday. Ordered release day, first hour

I ordered an Eagle 3080 on day of release, been 9th in queue since January this year but no updates. Does anyone know why there's such a delay on the eagles, 7 months in and still no card.

Looks like the 40X units arrived earlier than expected.

Hopefully all the other cards production starts to ramp up soon..

I don't think anyone but the manufacturer can answer that unfortunately

Hi, I have an Eagle 3080 OC pre-ordered (297 in the queue), No worries if this can't be answered but was just wanting to query this due to the eagles being non-existent at the moment.
Is it a possibility to downgrade to 3070 as long as i pay what i paid for the 3080? and if so, Would that actually get me a card faster or is it not worth doing it?

Hey, I've got two Steam accounts (my mistake), but only one game in each. One the other hand I've got Ubisoft & EA accounts, but only about 10-15 games in total on all portals. Not got enough time to play more since kids arrived...

Asus TUF OC arrived this morning. I was number 40 in the queue on Friday.

@Evdokia Savvaidou It's possible as I was seemingly bumped 17 queue positions for the TUF OC (was position 57, and supposedly only 40 came in). Same as Sipyker above mine arrived this morning. Feel like Frodo at the end of ROTK... "it's done".

Would be lovely if some of the OCs were given to the non-OC line as there's always a disproportionate amount of OCs arriving. If I'd known it would have halved the wait I'd have paid the difference in price, benefits of 20/20 hindsight again...

Just on the Eire/UK shipping delays, we had the perfect example of the reverse with UPS.

Small package shipped from Ireland on 2nd Feb, took 8 days to clear customs, but then sat in the UPS warehouse from 13/2 - 4/3!!! The only update was, "The package is delayed due to a Brexit related disruption. We are adjusting delivery plans as quickly as possible."

Bloody infuriating all round, especially as it had already apparently cleared customs!

I imagine the reverse is also happening for OC orders and as ScottiB said, the WEEE paperwork is also additional now. Do we know GPUs are single origin, ethically grown silicon from yonder local mine?
