I think you are being pretty ignorant here. Anyone and everyone with their profile will need security.

Do ex presidents for example not get security for the rest of their lives? They have given up their jobs.

No one said they wouldn't need security but if you quit your responsibilities then paying for your security becomes your own problem and not your ex employer's.
 
Meh I’ve switched it over, just silly nonsense from the pair of them. Blaming others for what has happened to them but not taking any responsibility for their behaviour and actions.

Feel like vomiting after listening to oh noesss poor us type of BS.

I got the feeling it's mostly BS. Like she was making it up on the spot and stringing Harry along for the ride.

Apparently many of the things she said are known to be false and events don't add up. So...

Living on British soil and doing public engagements, being at certain engagements that foreign diplomats attend etc. Less so when they have a full time job such as army service or helicopter rescue pilot. Whilst they were here they were contributing, giving something back to society in return for their position, privilege, security etc.
