Is there a reason shipments stopped come the new year? In the Eagle queue, moved about 15 places since December, assuming thats only down to cancellations at this point. Things were starting to look up in December, then boom. Not another card in sights?
Luckily got a 3070 back in Nov otherwise I may have had a breakdown by now.
Surely there must be some sort of consumer/bigger picture on this entire S*** show? Nvidia promising shops something, shops taking money, then half a year goes by with nothing to show for it and not even a bloody ETA on when volumes will pick up?!?!

I can answer this. No-one knows when this will end.
There is still a world wide silicon shortage.
The pandemic is still raging.
Bitcoin and Ethereum mining is vastly profitable so bots are still working to bypass the 1 sale 1 person rule.
Scalpers are still scalping.
Brexit is still a ********.

Judging by some of the reports on progress on the TUF 3080 I'm seeing in here I'm actually being overtaken? What the hell?
Ahh ok thanks, thought as much. Just wondered if anyone anywhere along the food chain had put out some sort of official statement. ATM I see it more likely them giving up and refunding me than me ever getting this card!

Yeah, that's the problem, there's no alternative to Nvidia so they can pretty much do what they like.

Unfortunately there is currently no available stock. Most of us are still waiting since making our orders in September onwards. So there is no way to join the queue until OCUK fulfils enough back orders. You probably better off joining a stock alert on Discord.

Your reckon the shortage is just down to the chips what a dreamer also down to supplier, brexit etc.... so stop crying it isn’t going to get you anywhere
Not sure brexit is a factor considering the shortage is worldwide and not just confined to the UK.

So why is it mainly the uk that’s struggling to get a steady supply in where as other countries it’s a tad more steady it’s **** I have no idea why they think leaving Europe is better
So do you have the proof that other countries have a steady supply, or is that just a lefty rant at Brexiteers?
The GPUs are generally made in China so brexit shouldn't effect the actual quantities manufacturers are sending to the UK although it may cause some delays going through customs at the boarder although it's mainly outbound shipping that's effected.
why do leave voters presume that anyone that thinks brexit is a bad idea is a " lefty " ? my political views are right leaning and i think brexit is all lose and no gain.
