I’d have it off you at MSRP![]()
That would be a stupid price with how they're going on ebay

It's so much risk for £600 (are they still going for 2K?). Doesn't seem worth it.
Just goes to show how people have jumped on the band wagon and seen the easy money option.
The issue is the people buying them for scalped prices, the 3090fe isn't even that hard to get if you really want one as it's usually up for around 5 minutes and all you need is a phone with an alert set up.I can only assume they have several friends/family ready to buy them on their behalf.
£2500 sale price per card.. Nice easy money.. £2500 - 13% (fees/paypal fee) = £2175 - 1400 = £775 per card..
Very quick easy money.

That level of performance was available 4 years ago at that price minus the RT.Yeah it is the easier one out of the FE lineup for sure. People paying north of £600+ for 3060s are not right in the head also, complete madness.

Possibly but it wont account for 100% of the buyers, I would say more likely 50% at most.
Yeah but of that 50% of miners, a significant proportion of them will be trying to get multiple cards. Whereas the 50% of gamers will be trying to get one or two units.
Disagree, you check on here there were individuals placing orders everywhere and then when they had a card, bought another one for their 'friend' etc. This has nothing to do with mining, its greed and snowballing the problem up.
Hedging your bets is a common tactic when you cant obtain something. As long as the other orders get cancelled its not really a big deal.
You get plenty of time wasters returning cards through RMA, cooling off periods or scalping.
You make a good point but I feel it's a mixture of what you say and mining, it's hard to say that mining hasn't had an effect, albeit not as much as some would have us believe.
Nothing against the miners though, I'd probably do it myself if I could be arsed. I'm not exactly disadvantaged in terms of having a good enough card at the moment, but I'd likely be saying something completely different were I running a 9 or 10 series card.

Yeah its combining both opinions and moving away from the stereotypes. If you go back during the OcUK queue periods between September and December last year, you found people were on all sites committed then the same characters were disclosing 'I got a 3070 to tie me over until I can bag a 3080' which proves my point. Some even grabbed an AMD card while they waited for an FE card so you can see why I frowned upon the 'its someone elses fault' mentality.
Buying multiple cards or tiers of the same gen is just exacerbating the already annoying problem.
Miners should not be able to make a massive dent as the 'One item per household' should limit them completely - this highlights back door deals and retailers are not disclosing the issue.
