Well, GAME screwed up

I bought a bundle with an extra controller, instead of the extra controller. I got Miles Morales for the PS5, I already got his game and don't need an extra copy.

I haven't even set up the PS5 as I don't know if GAME are going to stupid enough to want the whole bundle back. Ideally, I just want to send the game back and get my controller. I sent an email to CS as they don't have a number or live chat to call. They responded wanting more information. Now I'm not sure if they're going to not reply until Monday

You'd think that but there's some sort of weird clause in their returns policy, and I don't trust them

Look under returns:

In line with our Returns Policy we are not able to refund individual component parts of an order. For Example, if you ordered PlayStation 5 + Additional Dual Sense Controller + Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition + Player1 Tee (L) as advertised on the website you can not return just the Player 1 Tee (L) for a partial refund. Hmm, I'd still be surprised if they made you return the entire thing, it's their screw up after all. What they're saying there is that you can't buy a bundle then return one item for a refund because you don't want it any more.

Then again, it's Game and Game are an awful company living on borrowed time, so anything's possible.

How do people transfer their games from their previous playstation (PS4 Pro for me) to the new PS5?

I'm thinking we just copy the hard drive over to the PS5?

I have an extended external storage device. So am I ok to just plug that in to the PS5 and it'll work?

I'm preparing for when I eventually find one of this PS5 unicorns

Stock is coming in thick and fast now.

If your actively looking for one and have all the usual bot alerts set up. You can get several per week.

Plus prices on the open market are now only £100 more than games prices anyway. When that drops to £50 which will be soon enough you will see stock not selling out within minutes.

Well my Shopto order has shipped via DPD today so all being well it may turn up tomorrow or the day after. I won't count my chickens until it's here and up and running though!

Mine is absolutely silent, haven't heard a single thing from any games, and if you need to stick a mic in the back of the console to hear it like in that video then it isn't an issue

I got my PS5 from Studio. The status wasn't accurate at all for me. Mine never changed to dispatched until after it had arrived, which it did about 2 weeks earlier than expected!

My lad’s PS5 has none of what’s described in the video either. I can hear the fan at times, but it’s not exactly loud, it’s more that my hearing is sensitive to certain frequencies. He can’t hear it at all!

Thank you for your email, I look into this for you and see what we can do, usual procedure if that we would require the entire order returning to us due to it having it's own product code for mistaken bundle sent and the correct bundle would be sent afterwards, please bear with me.

**** you GAME, **** you. It's been sitting in a box since Saturday and I have been unable to do anything with it. The whole thing soured the excitement of getting it and setting it up. Half of me just doesn't care about it anymore.

At least half the videos of people complaining about this are being too way to anal about it. And all the videos have them pressing the mic right up against it, not 8ft away hidden under the TV like 99% of owners will have it.

Have you asked them to refund the difference ? I know it’s game so anything simple will not be the case but maybe worth a try to save hassle. I would have just said the controller was missing from the order....

Why would anyone buy a PS5, open it and then return it?

Especially when you could sell it on gumtree and make £200 instantly and if you are prepared to deal with time wasters and hagglers make £300 after a few hours?.

Not convinced people are selling them for such profits so easily, many are down to £550-600 and still not selling on Facebook.

Thanks for the update, she's just had an email stating it's been delayed. So she's awaiting a new date for delivery.

I literally sold one for £575 2 days ago and within 30 minutes of posting on gumtree. The price has come down rapidly though over the past month. Could have gotten £850 a month ago.

All you need to do is see what they are still selling for on eBay to see what the current situation is price wise. So I don't need to convince anyone.

If ones locally to you aren't selling too well then priced too high.

Even cex are still selling them for £650. So make of that what you will.
