He's just taking the place of Walter Goggins in the episode where Pierce's Lawyer (Goggins) makes everyone take a Polygraph test.
 
Working on a script is a very different matter from it it actually happening though.

Having said that, I’d love to see a film and if Pierce could be shoehorned in somehow (despite being dead) that would be awesome.
