Look at the PS5, many people are just buying it at msrp and listing it on said websites to get more money! There is no shortage.

The end is coming soon, only look at what these scapled items are selling for, it is already coming down for ps5.

Right now, as a customer, every retailer or manufacturer is going to squeeze you with poor deals in this current climate of lockdowns and give you rubbish prices. They are getting gov free loans so they can't be bothered.

Best thing to do if impatient is to wait it out or look on OcUk and buy a card with the voucher system.

Buying used items is another route, but consider the faults that could happen later on.

I recall I bought my brand new 24month contract mobile phone for £1,300 and 12 months later, the phone is worth £400 brand new. Just saying.

Mobile phones - another absolute mugs game, at least you've had use of something you'd paid for, people waiting for cards have handed over the best part of a grand for absolutely nothing, except giving OCUK a nice interest free loan. If these cards are ever delivered (they won't be), then what people are getting is year old tech they paid in a year in advance for.

Absolutely bonkers to happily sit there while you're getting completely mugged off. I thought everybody would have got themselves refunds by now...

At least for the mobile phone situation, they increase the monthly amount every year so I ended up paying even more than I would have thought .

I wised up to mobile phone nonsense years ago, still rocking a Samsung S8, which is now costing me the princely sum of £6 P/M, and I am never upgrading it either.

For the 3080 there have been no new orders taken and has been this way for months. Some lines still have around 1000 preorders waiting to be filled.

There was a couple of very expensive watercooled 3090s recently iirc.

I should have just got a cheaper non flagship device.

It's an obscene amount for a phone. People look at it like it's free uprarde, no it's not, it's another £1300 phone you've just bought for no reason, when you already own the perfectly good one you already have....

When I rang up just before my two years were up they were baffled when I told them I wanted to cancel everything and just keep my S8.

Why would you want to join the back of a never-ending queue, just to pay in advance for a GPU you'll never get?

This what people in this queue did in September...so even if you could place an order you'd be EIGHT MONTHS behind these poor souls?

For the 3080 there is no new orders and has been this way for months.

There was a couple of very expensive watercooled 3090s recently iirc.

3090 are out of mu budget.., and I don't think I need top end GPU without changing rest of my PC. I was lucky enough selling my R9 295x2 watercooled just week or two ago.

Anyway.

There's been no orders possible because the preorders still haven't been fulfilled from release. Those are being fulfilled in the order they came in.

Eventually lines will clear but some have months to go yet.

Nice... I try to hunt 3080 for 3.5 month now... Stock goes in seconds.... up to minute or 2. Sometimes i manage to ad to basket, chose store, but I'm not quick enough for checkout.... BOTS....
