*** NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 3080 SERIES STOCK SITUATION - NO COMPETITOR DISCUSSION ***

I feel bad for those waiting stock is still terrible and doesn’t seem to be improving especially for the Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte cards. RTX 3080 TI should be coming out next month so it may be worthwhile looking at that. Your like 306 in the queue which is ages away it will probably take forever not worth waiting for imo. Overclockers took in way too many pre orders without knowing how many orders they can fulfill. I feel super bad for those who are building from scratch and don’t even have a pc to play like myself :(

I wonder what the prices will be like for the 3080ti. If it’s like £100-£200 more it might be worth looking at but idk it’s all a big mess atm.

I am building from scratch and I’ve got all my parts lying in their boxes taking up space lol. That said I do have a hand me down machine with a 750ti. Not the best but at least it’ll run sketch up and AutoCAD! (Edit: To a certain degree)

Can't see a 3080ti coming soon, why would you bring out a new sku when they can't even supply the normal 3080 ?
just doesn't make sense. I'll believe it when I see it.

Yeh same here but I got my RTX 3080 last week it was £1099.99 but I’m glad it’s arrived I changed over from another RTX 3080 which was only £749.99 but I ain’t waiting for a GPU that will come next year or something silly like that. £1099.99 is overpriced for a 3080 but it’s one of the nicer 3080’s I guess plus scalpers on eBay are selling 3070’s for more than that and 3060Ti’s for around the same price and people are actually dumb enough to buy them which I don’t blame them because stock is still aweful

But why not put all those parts together whilst you wait? No boxes left 'taking up space' as you put it and it would run SketchUp and Autocad better.

Hi seems like q updates have stopped again, would like an queue update just so I know if any cancellations occurred, I know there's not been many deliveries but that's no reason not to keep people informed especially when people are getting close, actions speak louder than words.:p

Reading the staff posts and with the current outlook, the decision to cancel all outstanding pre-orders cannot be far off!

OCUK are clearly laying out the loss on supplyiing the original orders, they would not be giving cost prices to the public if pressure was not mounting!

OH HELL NO!!!
i have waited 7 months for my card and i am 4th place and i got it for £650
if they cancelled the orders i would have to pay something like £400-£500 extra and i haven't got the money for that.
i have waited so long for this and if they cancel last minute i will be pi*sed.

Edit:
i dont know what the plan is but i suggest they cancel all outstanding orders over 30-50 cards so that the people who have waited since September can still get their cards

The excuses have dried up for the lack of supply, so I guarantee the cancellation procedure is imminent. Nvidia and the manufactures realised they screwed the prices too low for the demand/lack of gpus. Ocuk have done the best they can, but it’s completely out of their control and loosing 200k for each card brand would be a bad choice for any company. I just hope when the new cards come out that maybe the people who have waited since September, October get some sort of priority placement for their patience and loyalty.

did you get this card from OCUK?

Sorry I forgot to mention that I ordered my case along with my card:D I’ve asked for my order to be split now but the case is also out of stock LOL. But anyway, I don’t think boxes ‘taking up space’ is the biggest of my concern :).

Day 1 order, no where close to 50th, so don’t agree with this at all

So being ~400 in queue for 3080 tuf oc i can pretty much forget that I gonna get it?
Eh... that's probably shittiest thing that ever happened to me - purchase wise. Waiting months and months just to be told off is just straight cruel.

To be honest, tuf are best supply, probably will get it being 400 in tuf queue, but 400 in any other queue is an easy cancel
