UEFA Champions & Europa League Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 15th April 2021]

I think we've been fine, we've created a few good chances. It makes sense to ease up with this seasons' schedule where we can. No reason to go all out when we're comfortably leading.

Not sure this has been a "take it easy" performance, its just been disjointed and a bit ****.

Fair point but generous in my view. It's a stark contrast to the quality of City last night. Clearly different circumstances but disappointing how we don't seem able to control the game better against a £7m outfit from Spain.

They're hardly some third division team, they knocked out flipping Napoli over two legs. I'm not sure how this doesn't count as controlling the game? We've had 61% possession and other than some diving and ***housery they haven't really threatened.

They've had as good chances as United in this game but not taken them. We are at home, started a strong 11 but have laboured and looked incoherent for the most part. I expect more and we will have to offer more vs Roma.

So here is a question. Is he ever going to be anything other than "tidy"?
