How do you turn it on wearing gloves, when the button to activate it is on a touch screen?

I think you'd have probably pre-heated the car via the app so you didn't need gloves in the first place.

I reckon a metal one would heat faster than leather. They have elements in the wheel anyway don't they? (Not sure if ive missed something
).

Yeah that’s why they need to be heated really, the thermal mass of a steering wheel needs a dedicated element in the wheel otherwise that metal acts as a great heat sink.
