if your scratching it from cleaning your car, there's a problem with your method
i would pre wash, wash, decontaminate and correction if possible, apply polish and then a good sealant (like what i linked above)

just make sure you never use a brush on the bodywork or one of those wiper blade things

I dunno what the neighbour puts in their bird feeder but even a power washer doesn't take it off.

You think that's bad, I have a listed Tree growing over my space. I get tree pollen and bird poop mixed into one sticky coating. I have to wash it 3 times a week in spring to keep it looking reasonable. I really need to go and get a cover too.

Well that was the issue tree over hanging car. Neighbour put out an industrial bird feeder. Solution was chop the tree to a stump.

I dunno what the neighbour puts in their bird feeder but even a power washer doesn't take it off.

it wont if its anything like poo "burnt" on by the sun

Its not getting burnt on. Don't get enough sun for that. Its an Alpen Superglue Mix.
