Now that cards auto-boost, and I would guess there is limited real world difference between the standard and OC models, I think it would be better to reduce the number of SKU from each AIB company, ditch the OC version, and simplify the supply chain.

Ok so I dunno if I’m meant to post links to articles, but I’m gonna leave this here, as it’s not competitor discussion - it’s relevant IMO.

If true, surely this would be good news for all of us who are still waiting on a 3080? Because it suggests 3080 is not going EOL and will continue production after 3080Ti is released.

Or would this just be yet another new queue? I assume not, because it’s not really a launch, seems more like a silent revision.

Totally agree with you, but there's zero chance the AIBs would pass on the opportunity to sell a binned SKU for extra... :mad: Only lesson is pay the extra (~£50-100) cause it'll save much more in terms of patience and potentially getting it before it goes EOL!:(

Unfortunately that was a mistake by the supplier. I checked my MSI emails when they didn't arrive and there hasn't been any Ventus on the incoming list for months.

My Ventus was picked for me back in February and then accidentally given to another customer. There has to be something you guys can do to make up for the error?
 
Still waiting on news about the 10 STRIX non-OC cards from the beginning of April. Never moved a spot since they were announced, so I wonder if there were that many replacements or if it simply still hasn't arrived yet.

same here im currently number 8 on the queue and im hoping they arrive soon as its been almost a month since we got the news

The later. The cards didn't arrive. We reported this to the supplier and today they let us know that their stock check was correct so they must have gone missing in transit.
We've had four people searching our side with no luck. Sorry.
