RX 6700 XT - Is supply getting to UK?

Dunno about OcUK but it used to be shrink wrapped and 4 or 5 GPUs to a plain box on a pallet so not easy for the odd one to go missing in transit. But not unheard of, though rare, for an entire pallet to somehow go "missing".

In the current times I would think a few go missing. Then in the shop stores, staff also pilfer off the odd item. Maybe harder in small scale outlets but plenty of my buds growing up that worked in places like Tesco used to tell me the stories of what they smuggled out or placed a discount sticker on etc. :)

Plenty of supply on the main auction site, many listings at higher price than OcUK. Wonder how many of the scalpers bought from OcUK, and how many cards will not sell at the listed prices on the auction site

Best hold on to that too. Been waiting far too long now and it looks like I might actually cave in soon.

Someone offered me 2.5K for it the other day! madness but as I do a bit of ray tracing development stuff on the side I need the card.

That's crazy and as tempting an offer... what can you buy right now to replace it... nothing?

NV Store via one of OcUK competitors. They aren't using Digital River for the Ampere FEs in the UK AFAIK.

I know the competitor and they are pretty good from my experience, never had an issue. Hopefully stock won't be an issue soon and free your mind from worry. Just wish prices were at least sensible, I can tolerate paying just over £50 extra but an extra £350 for a £480 card!

The other equipment will be listed for sale first, then they will try and scalpe the cards next.

I wouldn't trust buying from a retailer these days , auction sites are likely safer due to their buyer protection.

I would have taken the offer then bought something else..

What's the drivers like with AMD lately, had a bad experience with a 5700 XT and returned to team green.

Have you checked the nvidia driver post on here lately?..

From last couple of pages (small sample):

Just popped the 466.11s on, for the security fixes.

I've had 4 dev error crashes this evening alone in Warzone, just using the latest driver update 466.11 :mad::mad::mad:

A week away from five months since they introduced this issue with the Cyberpunk 2077 launch driver and still no fix. So much for that "superior Nvidia driver support" eh lads?

They seem to be throwing out drivers by the load, while being game ready, there's a ton of fixes still needed!

Try AMD/Intel you will be lucky not to get BSOD.

461.81. Everytime I see another release, I see the change logs with very little fixes but tons remain. Granted I've not ran into many problems bar the Youtube issues.

I would be quite cheesed though if I was others that had many other issues that hasn't been fixed 6 months on still on the list. I understand bug fixes takes time but how long?

Since installing the 466.11 drivers my game temps (3080FE) have been crazy hitting 80c and it was as though my undervolt was not working at all.
Finally found out what was causing it. I was using a "clean" version of 466.11 but it was still installing the NVContainer service.
So disabled and removed NVContainer and my temps have dropped back into the 60c's now !

Installed clean version of 466.22 and even made sure NVContainer was not meant to be installed and checked afterwards and the service was back.
So removed it again. Thought I would share as its been driving me nuts.
