I'm looking at HWINFO and running "Dying Light" and all the temps on the gpu seem very high. is this normal or should I request a RMA for this card?

gpu temp is 67c
memory junction 96c
hot spot 79c

I would say slightly higher than expected, especially for an older gen game that shouldn't be that taxing on your card. But looking at the big overall picture, and I'm not familiar with how good (or bad) the cooler design is on your model, or your case setup. The temps aren't anything to worry about.

this is nothing to worry about. the memory junction is suppose to be ok upto 110C isnt it? the last card i ran on air would reach over 70C easily and it was never considered a problem, it didnt even have vram temps or any other temps so id imagine they would have bene close to yours.

ive seen so many of these threads with temps not even 20C above my watercooled gpu.

I wouldn't say there's anything to worry about. People get overly obsessive over temps. 67 is absolutely fine. My old blower style 1080 Ti was pretty much running at 80+ maxxed out for like 4 years while gaming and it still works fine. My gaming X trio does seem to run stupidly cool out the box without touching anything though (like between 50-60 degrees in a lot of games) so I'm maybe not the best judge:cry: After looking at it out of curiosity when I first got the thing though and getting over the initial anxiety of.. (is there something wrong with this card I just spent all this money on and how long am I gonna wait to get a replacement if there is:confused::cry:)

I never bother looking at what it is when gaming now. If there's no performance issue while running the game then don't stress over it. Enjoy the card:)

so thats normal temps then?
my case is a HALF-X so its well ventllated, im just not used to seeing those type of tempretures

Just to help with comparison my Asus Tuf OC 3080 sits at 37 idle and hottest i've seen it gaming is 67 but generally sits around 62 load.

They really should stick something on the box or in the monitoring software to tell people what is acceptable with these "new" temp sensors they have started having lately. The actual core temps seem to be the same or lower than I've seen on many cards over the years.

For rtx3000, anything under 100c on memory perfectly fine and anything under 80C on gpu core is perfectly fine

Performance starts to dip at above 105c?

The VRAM should be cooled better tbh.
