Lovely parking by Sainz - parked his broken Ferrari next to Alfa Tauri to guarantee track was blocked and red flag.Yup. He seems sure that someone going into the wall ahead of him absolutely caused him to lock up, half spin and stuff it in the wall.

Nah, it was a red flag for Yuki anyway, no way you can set a fast time with that car there.

It's fine. It's a challenge, get it wrong and it really bites.
I'm not so sure. Watching the tow Leclerc got from Hamilton on the track map i doubt anyone else would've got one as good. It was perfect and better than the ones team mates were giving each other!
Of course the tow isn't the whole story for the best lap time but seemingly a huge part of it here.Plus there's the fact that all the drivers left on that lap were all over each other and jostling for positions. Probably saved some blushes with people not making the flag by ending it there.

I "have" to hand nothing to Ticktum, because the **** shouldn't even be in the same postcode as a race car after what he did.
Are we going to get the traditional OcUK Motorsport forum incredulity at a 3-place penalty, because this of course is a completely unheard of penalty every damned time that it's given?

Hamilton needs to close the door at the start tomorrow if he wants to keep the fight alive. Cover off the inside, push max into the wall on the outside. Could be a good race, they’ll stay out for a while as a safety car seems pretty likely. Max has a good chance to take more points off Hamilton.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens once we return to tracks that suit the merc more and with the new wing rules. It also looks like it could be a shorter season than planned.

I think Hamilton will eventually be a rolling road block and might give Leclerc some clean air to challenge for the win.
Doubt it'll be a clean race compared to Monaco so hopefully Mercedes don't have that play into their hands, always boring when it does.
