3080 went in with no angle grinder this morning \0/ & then gave me top slot in the uk for my hardware combo

& I got Harribo, so today was a very VERY good day (tho not good for overclocking as it was a 30 deg c ambient out there)

It’s kinda funny how this has gone from information about 3080 shortage to people complaining to people thinking after Chinese New Year we will all be okay to complaints and now to spam about anything (like this post) so they can hit the 50 marker as a lot of people I’m sure like me have just been reading because they didn’t want to cause more stress to the staff (rip my msi 3080 gaming X)

And what does that matter? This part of the forum is most relevant to me, kinda why I joined.. and that's what makes "post count padding" even more funny, I could happily semi spam across other threads if I really wanted that 50 post count :')

Just sucks when it seems mods are scrutinising your posts more than others just because you're new to the forum especially as it was a bad joke to counterbalance the complaining and highlight how many pages this thread has in its kinda short lifespan...

I managed to bag a 3080Ti using the Telegram link. Not my preferred route at all. I'd much rather have had an AIB 3080, or a 6800XT but they're either not available or at daft prices. So I pushed the button and it worked. If I can do it then it's definitely possible. It's not like I'm a whizkid or anything.

I hope you get your 3080 soon. I've been lurking in this forum since launch and it seems like the people who genuinely need new cards to keep up with these games don't have any luck. At least my 980 ti gives me some what decent frames.

My last resort is to be more active in this forum and hope I can get one when I reach 50 posts .

Seems my wait is over after 242 days of waiting just received my shipping email this morning. So, hopefully I should have my Gigabyte Gaming OC tomorrow.
