What a legend that guy was. First image I think of whenever someone's in denial.

He is right, its due to demand.
The demand is from the vaccine companies to inset microscopic processors into us and allow Bill Gates to control us.
I was late getting up this morning due to a firm ware update.
Meanwhile back in the real world....
There is this exact same "discussion" every single time a new generation of consoles is released.
It's pretty obvious publishers aren't just going to drop the last generation; more than 100 million PS4's have been sold alone. There is no way they'd miss even 10% of those sales.
Simple fact is that it's not worth picking up a new console for a couple of years after release but everybody has FOMO (I know I did).
its not cutting off.Not necessarily. I only had a launch PS4 that started to pack in, luckily, in August last year so it made sense for me to get the new console instead of forking out for another PS4. I hated using the PS4 because of how loud it was so the 'quality of life' aspect of it, for me anyway, was worth it alone - I'd go as far to say that the noise actually ruined God of War and Ghost of Tsushima for me. Going to play through them again on my PS5 at some point once I've forgotten more of what happened in them!
But yeah, anyone who believes they'd cut off 100 million+ PS4 users to pander to the 8 million PS5 users is off their heads.
its not cutting off.
Its catering for next gen consoles to play actual games designed and build for it and also release your annual fifa and cod stuff on ps4 etc.
Look at the MS e3 show. some of there games are only on xbox x!! no catering for older consoles and thats how it should be on some games.
And you laugh at "only 8 million" users.
thats a big player base already.
silcon shortage? yet they sold 8million already? LOL its no shortage, its HIGHER DEMAND.

You need to take your tin foil hat off in this heat before you do yourself anymore damage. Why are you so vocal about it? Are you one of these people who complain just for the sake of complaining? You seem to just having a moan at everything.
No one is disputing the higher demand as that's clearly evident. More than one thing can contribute to a shortage of equipment. In this case it is the higher demand AND the chip shortage, plus this wee thing called COVID that's been going about. When you consider the PS5 disc version, PS5 digital version, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, GPU's, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones (?), it's understandable to everyone that there is a chip shortage, except for you.
Because its rubbish thats why.I see you have ignored the posts where you have been called out as a liar.
Because its rubbish thats why.
the shortage is due to a huge demand now for gaming as many have been stuck at home.
Check the influx of streaming services too!
Nope. i only say what you said, i never lied to you.You told me I said something that I didn’t, that makes you a liar. What’s wrong with you?
You said chipset.
Nope. i only say what you said, i never lied to you.
You must be mistaken me from someone else.
You did say that.So that’s not you then?
I can put up with a lot but I can’t stand liars. It’s a despicable character trait.
You did say that.
Sorry if your offended and disagree with me saying the demand for gaming Is the main reason we have stock issue's

So what about dates of the ms games? God of war is not exactly coming this year...This thread is like some kind of sketch show. Someone is being presented with facts and reason yet they continue to bang the same ridiculous drum nonetheless.
Imagine being a PS4 owner who loved God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn. You learn of sequels to each of these games coming out very soon, but they are only coming to PS5. It would be annoying to be locked out of sequels to such huge games until you fork over £450. Not to mention the supply shortage - and no it's NOT simply because of higher demand. The PS5 is barely outselling the PS4 in a roughly equivalent time frame (7.8m to 7.6m). Why is it barely outselling? Because they can't make any more.... why? Because of the component shortage....
The financial side of things is also a concern like people have said elsewhere in this thread. Making a huge AAA sequel to a running series exclusively for PS5 right now doesn't make the best financial sense. 110m possible customers compared to 8m. Yes there are some exclusive games obviously, but there is always going to be a crossover period.
And your comments about the Xbox event are valid. They did show a few games which are coming only to Series X/S and PC. But when? Some of them didn't have dates, and if they did it was 2022 (most likely delayed to 2023).
This is like groundhog day.So what about dates of the ms games? God of war is not exactly coming this year...
If all the devs care is money then why even release a PS5 then? Just keep rinsing the ps4.
People can live without 4k and 60 fps right?
Sorry I just don't agree with your posts and firmly stand by my opinion that this is a bad move making last gen ports on basically every Ps5 game coming on the horizon (no pun intended).
Also, the fact that the Ps5 sells basically the same amount of ps4, a console that's way cheaper and more available then a PS5 shows u how much of a demand and how much many want a PS5.
Again can you show me how much units of ps4 was sold in 7 months vs Ps5?
