Few nice cars at NY500 today near Pickering.

This GTR was lovely. Touching around 1000 brake apparently.

If we ever do the northern meets again, this is the perfect place to do it.

Bit of an unusual choice to be carting round some 2x4s but nice to see it being used.
Not sure if you're aware, but they only made 112 GTA's and only sold 60 in the UK.

Incredibly rare car.
There's an "abandoned" house on a mega-posh road near me with one of these rotting on the driveway. Bonkers.
Pics of that definitely needed.
Hopefully its just a normal one though otherwise sheesh.

I'm an idiot - I pay no attention to personalised plates (big clue there, lol) and didn't spot that one was a GTA. Very nice indeed!

Here is the one I am talking about, best shot I can get snipped from Street View. House is in absolute disrepair too:

I imagine if they had died then their kids/neighbors would have been all over it.

Current average value of houses on that road from Zoopla: £1.965m

Wen to Clarkson's Farm Shop today. This was in the car park...

(sorry for the bad crop it was a drive by shot)

Has to be over quarter mil but I reckon over a mil for anything like that. My old boss had the initials and plate ER 2, he must be long dead by now and plates werent traded like they are now.

Reminds me, the local vinyl shop in town..the owner had VINYL (or thereabouts). Think he sold it to judge Jules for 20k...people were aghast. I reckon that'd go for millions now too.

Plate on a Cayenne 'coupe' here which is like 57 Y. When you look on the car check you can put in any number and Y and there's loads of interesting stuff with those plates.

I don't think going up to an abandoned car and making an offer for it will bear any fruit tbh. :p
So many times you hear of this. It was a big thing when folk were sitting on old Ford Escorts, Fiestas IIRC. The only one I've seen come off is Ratarossa and his Ferrari boxer :p

My neighbours mates classic AE86

Nice to see something old-skool-kool for a change. He paid 8k as is 4 years back.

Guess how much he was offered very recently...

25?

Whatever it is it is thoroughly depressing. Because I wanted one. And then when I started to get into a position to buy one, they mooned.

A tidy UK delivered CAT C one sold for 46K the other week... You used to be able to get them imported from Japan for much much less, but they seem to have wised up to the daft prices overseas now and they're all substantially marked up even at home.

What's the black and white one? Mx5 maybe?

Yeah a mk2.5 by the looks.
