And the only reason the 737max got passed was because they used a loophole intended to allow updates to older airframes that would not be possible to meet the standards for completely new designs, and hid the problems (hence one of the reasons they got a fairly big fine and every single one of those aircraft now has to be updated and they've had to go through additional certification, which found other problems).

Not really much of a surprise given that one of their councillors previously said that 'white girls need to shut up for the the sake of diversity'.

The article touches on 'Modern slavery', while arranged and first cousin marriages are still the norm in South Asian communities throughout the UK, as well as keeping the women at home to do all the housework and beating them if they don't.

She didn't say it, but she agreed with it and that's just as good as saying it. How she's still an MP is beyond believe.

I still think there are a lot more towns/cities where this scandal is still being hidden. I wholeheartedly think that the ones already prosecuted are just sacrificial lambs & we may never know the full extent.

One thing is clear, in all the areas we currently know about, the council was Labour operated.

Oh, I hate twitter screenshots and quotes, straight up looks like the person quoting is saying the comment.

However this was written back in 2017 about that incident:

'[Naz] has and will continue to advocate for all victims, and work towards eradicating this evil from society.’

I don't think it looks like she has done anything about it, and she likely dismisses any mention of this as racism.

See the following post. Also that is more of an exception to the rule. Air safety (including rockets) is taken very seriously. There is a reason why it is the safest way to travel.

Well I mean a plane was built, using a chassis that was not made for the engines bolted to it, sensors removed and stripped away, extremely poor training given to pilots,, large safety tests either not done or ignored or completely failed in their work, I mean, thats a pretty massive barrage over a very long time and it ended with two planes falling out of the air. Safety at each level was bypassed by several aero organizations.
 
Wonder how different the action taken on this if it was white guys doing the organized raping of Pakistani girls.

The FAA was giving Boeing permission to certify their own work which was allowing the FAA and Boeing to save money.

A few hundred dead bodies later and the stupidity is exposed of allowing a manufacturer of planes to sign off their own quality control.

This was partly because of the disturbing FAA policy of allowing Boeing employed engineers to act as thier inspectors for Boeing practices.


The FAA has over the last few decades become more and more of a political entity supporting Boeing.


EASA shows no where near the same level of incompetence or leniency when it comes to airbus.

Yet due to the massive protective power of the US government Boeing gets a slap on the wrist instead of a proper punishment

How is the main issue uncomfortable?. Do as we have in NI, set up a 3 judge system no jury, haul people up and send them to jail. I haven't seen England ever employ serious consideration to jailing anyone for these types of crimes. In that i mean structural abuse, not abuse in general edit.

i've not had to mop anyones mess.......well that's a lie actually, my 2 kids can be pretty messy but thankfully my wife takes care of that most of the time. maybe she's been doing the same for the boomers and i've just not realised.

Well as gen x are in their 40's and up to mid 50's now, they and younger are more likely to be the rapists than the 'boomer' generation. They are also the generation with the most economic potential and power in daily life. Most MP's, business managers and owners, up and coming executives etc. So good luck to you all.
