Probably not going to make much difference with an old school muscle car, probably go sideways on decent tyresDriver wants more MPG over grip i think
. Part of me thinks its because it will probably never get driven if there's a cloud in the sky
.yes it still goes sideways on good tyres and not just an old school muscle car either, but the big problem around town is if you floor it it's heard from a long way off and it's obvious you're speeding too, so i only floor it well away from home and having a good look around first.

Thats got more to do with what gear you're in thought surely
, although I guess it's not got many (3 or 4?).A lot of cars like that are just driven sedately to classic car shows. I was at a show on saturday and talking to a guy who owned a Mach 1 for 30 years.
He was saying it was always his dream car and incredible at pulling the birds when he was young but nowadays he doesn't go over 50 mph and drives along with his arm out of the window,
He was telling me the power steering is so light you can turn the wheel with one finger but you absolutely have no idea what direction the front wheels are pointing in ever and wouldn't dream of trying to go round a corner quickly.
Never goes out in the wet and washed and waxed before going back into the garage after every show.

Cops turned up today.-- Genuine cop car - got all the bells and whistles including the tannoy. - Absolutely mint - really made my day - got some more pics but struggling to get them from my phone to PC.--- Photography isnt my strong point.

.I have no idea who he was - just turned up dropped his mate off at mates over the road to pick his van up after having windows tinted.
Unfortunately he had no cuff's or sawn off shotgun - I still can't believe it was absolutely mint. - I would love that as my daily ride but 4.2 V8 would cost a bit.

When he turned up he put all the sirens on and used loud speaker to ask my mate to come out with his hands up.
I am still buzzing today about it.
After he left we heard the sirens down in village.
That car stands out more than any other car on our roads in my opinion.

I came out of uni around 2017 and one was parked right outside! Dodgy little one way street near Soho with cramped parking
I had to triple take it, bonnet looked a different shade to the rest of it, but it was all out of the corner of my eye as I drove past in traffic.
The bonnets often do - it's due to the grain direction of the steel.
