I would take Suarez just because he was an animal at his peak. I fear Salah as a United fan but I feared Suarez far more. Suarez would rip you to pieces on his own whereas Salah feels more like a team player that will calmly crush you. Not as exciting as Suarez in my book.

Yeah, its exactly as you say, Suarez was exciting, skilful and did some amazing stuff (all while being a total *******). Its close because Salah and his record speaks for itself, that first season was unbelievable with 44 goals.
 
Suarez. I know Salah broke the single season scoring record but 13/14 Suarez is still for me the best season from any forward in PL history. 31 goals and 17 assists in 33 games, without taking a single penalty. If he's on pens (I think we had about 10 that season too) and not suspended for 5 games he's scoring 40+ goals and 20+ assists in the League alone.

Salah's amazing but Suarez in his last 18 months with us and first few seasons at Barca was up their with Messi.

Suarez just for sheer entertainment value, you never knew what he would pull off. I mean Salah has scored some great goals and has plenty of records but Suarez did things I haven't seen many, if any, other players pull off. Very few players have left me sat gawping at the TV as often as he did. His winning mentality was so strong he couldn't contain it at times, man was an absolute animal.

I loved Suarez's animal side. I've mentioned it a few times in the past but Liverpool done a press event where the women's team trained with the men and Suarez wiped out one of the women. In 3 and a half years with us, despite having defenders kick lumps out of him nearly every week, the guy never missed a single game through injury. He did make up for that with suspensions though.

It's not like that. UEFA have a standard 1 game ban for red cards and then they review and extend bans for violent conduct or serious foul play. Both Wan Bisakka and KDB's challenges were right on the border between reds and yellows, one got the benefit of the doubt and one didn't but as soon as it was a red, it was always likely to be a 2 game ban.

It's fundamentally no different to what happens every week in the PL where one ref gives something as a red and another doesn't - we just get the instant 3 game ban for the red where as UEFA go through the motions of issuing a 1 game suspension then extending it.
