Psu won’t be a problem as I’m using the same watts psu.

make sure you ain’t daisy changing the cables going into the card.

If your using a 10 bit panel, change it to 8bit with free sync on.

change your min and max clock speed, for example 2400max/2300min. Has to be at least 100mhz difference.

Maldonado, make sure you’ve picked the right pci express gen speed in the motherboard bios as that has caused issues before if your using a riser cable

8bit made no difference.

Just ran Borderlands 3 benchmark, got 98 on high at 1440p.

Rest of the PC is 3600XT, 3600 corsair vengeance pro cas 14, 2 x m.2 drives.

Reason i think its power, i had similar problems with this power supply with a 3080 before, i have a tiny bit of coil whine with this card and you can hear the card stutter when it stutters on screen.

Ive got a 850w platinum coming today to test out, if it doesnt fix it ill just fire it back.

Right, i think ive got it fixed - if i undervolt the card even slightly it wigs out. Not sure because its the asus water cooled one it has a higher power limit than my merc 319 i had before but that seems to have done the trick, thanks for the advice guys.

Not heard of that at all. Using FreeSync and a 10bit panel here.

I am using 10 bit color depth with ycbcr 4:4:4 at 4k120 and freesync premium on a Q70A display and a 6800xt and had no problems at all there either. Both the TV and the PC shows freesync as working. If it was an issue before, it must've been fixed driver-side fairly recently.

Has to be a local system issue. Have you tried a selective start-up in case you have any background apps causing issues?

To reboot in a selective startup:
Press WINDOWS-R on the keyboard to bring up the Run window, enter MSCONFIG and click OK.
Under the General tab, click "Normal startup" if it is not selected already.
Under the Services tab, put a check on "Hide All Microsoft Services" and then click "Disable All."
Under the Startup tab, these will still be disabled in Windows 10 in the Task Manager.
Click OK on the MSCONFIG window, and then click Restart when prompted.

Sounds like the issues I was having with my 6900XT. Can't remember what I did to resolve it now .

I think yours was icue if I recall mate. Mark’s was unstable undervolt settings indicated by his earlier post.

Hi guys, did someone try the open beta of new world with a 6800xt? My gpu usage is terribly low in crowded areas and the result is having horrible fps drop. I'm playing at 1440p max settings, paired with a 9900k (never above 45% in demanding towns) and 16gb of ram 3600mhz.

So im still having problems with mine with stuttering, very frustrating so its going back. Its improved with normal voltage, i think the card just doesnt have enough juice.

Planning on selling my card with the waterblock but if there is no interest, will try to sell with the stock cooler.. but can't remember the thickness needed.

pretty sure they are 1mm , guessing the old pads fell apart when you removed the stock cooler.

Yeah the old thermal pads were crap and crumbled. It's ok now.. managed to flog the card so the buyer will deal with it should he want to remove the waterblock

Im wondering if its power related, ive got a 750w psu which id have thought would have been spot on for that.

Ran a 6800XT and a 6900XT np on my RM650X m8, shouldn't be a problem if it's decent. But I do remember you like your no-name Chinese bull**** psu's so maybe not

Running latest optimised driver for New World? 21.9.2 iirc

I've just been reading the grim news on the 3080 thread however it did seem to imply that the stock situation for the 6800XT is relatively good.

I just purchased a 6800XT on Sunday the 26th, was one available at the time of purchase however I just got a message informing me that the item I purchased is out of stock, awaiting more stock from the supplier.

I was just hoping anyone who made a recent purchase of this card could give me an idea of whether I'll be waiting weeks or months?

I would prefer not to have to refund but the prospect of being out of pocket with no product for a significant period of time is not one I would relish.
