The latest boxer Sky are touting as a future champion.

https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...oxing-after-his-blistering-victory-at-wembley

Didn't watch the fight but from the highlights, I can fully understand why he's so highly rated. Against a guy with 3 wins and only 8 losses on his record as well, phenomenal.
Sky have lost so much talent through Eddie jumping ship that they’re reduced to hyping average British level boxers as possible world champs. It’s quite laughable really.

Just finished watching Lopez vs Kambasos. What a fight. I thought Lopez was going to smoke this guy in a few rounds, as did everyone else probably. But GK didn't read the script and put on an brilliant show against TL and was a clear winner.

The way TL handled himself post fight was shocking. I always thought it was just his dad that was the ******* but it turns out his son is just as bad.

Can’t stand Lopez jr I’m a bit sad Taylor didn’t get the opportunity to humble his hugely overinflated ego first.

No wonder he was avoiding the Loma rematch. I just hope he never had a rematch clause so GK can shut him out like Lopez has done to Loma.

Too little too late but at least both have declined at the same rate.

Brook really wasted his career after beating Porter. Least Khan had some brilliant nights

If it was 2015 I’d have been mega keen on the fight. But it’s 2021!

Dictionary definition of a cash out fight for both. Neither will fight again after it and both are shot. Just a pension pot fight.

khan must think Kell is finally shot enough for him to be able to win.

Khan within 5 for me brook never been same since having his eye smashed
GGG fight finished Kell. Should never have taken it, going up 2 weight divisions to fight a killer ffs!!

He was actually doing really well in it as well but was never going to have the power to stop Golovkin and eventually got his face smashed in.

Yeah GGG ruined Kels career, no question but Khan has no chin and isn’t the fighter he was. If Kell lands he wins, simple as that. I’ve just watched the presser and to be honest it’s made me excited for it, better late than never. Let’s go Kell.

It'll be interesting to see what both have left at the end of their careers. I do think Khan is the more skilled boxer but he is a bit of a glass cannon (though contrary to most I do believe it's a bit of a meme calling him chinny at this point as they people who have knocked him out would've knocked out most others too) so if Brook does catch him well, he may well take him out. But if Khan has even a fraction of that hand speed left, he will cause issues from Brook.

Khan was out boxing Canelo until he decided to try and stand toe-to-toe with him. He'll have no issue out boxing Brook

The press conference was certainly lively, no love lost between these two. Khan is quicker, Brook has better timing. Brook has more power, Khan has the weaker chin. Brook by KO, it'll only be a matter of time imo before he lands one and it's lights out again.

Khan seems to relish the fact he's fought so many world class fighters - he's been knocked out cold but he sees this as some sort of achievement and I think Brook was right, he's avoided this fight because if he fought Brook years ago and lost, the bubble suddenly bursts, the pantomime is over. It was easier and more financially beneficial to continue fighting foreign fighters in exciting fights that people always tuned in to watch because you couldn't blink, his blistering hand speed meant he'd dominate certain opposition yet at the same time his complete lack of ring IQ and poor defence meant he could be KO'd at any moment. Khan excelled in certain areas but was very poor in others, that's why he had such great highs and devastating lows, meanwhile Brook was more well rounded as an overall fighter and consistent - you'd never see Brook getting knocked out cold by a Breidis Prescott for example.

Definitely Brook by KO for me even though he's probably a shadow of his former self these days.

Sums it up for me - I'm not sure I'd sanction it if I was the BBC - someone could get really hurt.
You say this as though there 50 years old. They’re 35 and just turning, Crawford is 35, Fury is 33, many MMA fighters are early-mid 30s there’s still plenty left in the tank if they have looked after themselves. The fight is 5 years late but it won’t be a bad fight either way.

I think it's the ring rust on Khans side and the mental and physical scars on Kells side that makes it seem like 2 past fighters coming out for a payday. In fact ring rust on both sides they've both fought twice in 3 years!

149 lbs catch weight for khan / kell is interesting, 2 lbs doesnt sound like much but in pro boxing every gram of muscle counts.
I think they will be in good shape on the night. Or they will look their age lol

For any of the more casual fans who might have missed this .. Its a great fight and shows how talent alone is rarely enough
