one of the best shows out there. if you havent already, check out Deadwood. its basically Justified in the wild west.

Yeah I love deadwood, got the boxed set on dvd - was hoping they'd release an updated Blu-ray set with the movie - that's what makes me even more puzzled how I never caught Justified the 1st time round.

Hmm, there is some big stuff coming later on, but tbh I wouldn't say it 'gets better'. If you're not enjoying it now, find something else to watch. There's too much good TV these days to spend time on something you're not enjoying.
 
Finished watching The Outlaws. It kinda reminds me of misfits but without the sci-fi or gore. The first episode was the hook but after that it started to feel like a family TV show.

Just started to watch The Wheel of Time.

Not yet. Just have the last episode to watch. I have enjoyed it even though I remember a lot of it from the three films.
 
lost in space (netflix)

9/10

Just finished season 3.i thought it was brilliant. Especially season 1 & 3.
Not perfect but I loved it.

10x better than new star trek. The finale episode was particularly moving.
 
The Cockfields.
Has a similar vibe to the Royle family and even has the same actress who played the mum.

The first 3 episode season were hilarious 10/10, Bobby Ball was incredibly funny, but sadly he died between seasons, the replacement (Rab C Nesbit) is good but not the same. You get used to him eventually, but his son on the other hand is absolutely hilarious.

I'd recommend it to anyone who likes a British family comedy.

Lost in Space Season 3.
Dear lord thank god that is over. Never to darken my list again. Looks great in 4K but what a chore.
Constant jeopardy. Oh no i didnt expect that to happen *in the most sarcastic voice you can imagine*
Children. Family. Hugs. All ok. Rinse and repeat. Danger Will Robinson. F... Off Will Robinson :rolleyes:

Yep, really enjoyed that last episode. Love the relationship between Tom and Greg. Greg is such a well played character. That scene during the wedding sums him up perfectly "Yeah, love weddings" turns head "Weddings, yuk" :cry:
 
Finished all three seasons of the Danish thriller "The Killing". We liked each of them, albeit the second very different from the first. Overall very good and exceedingly tense, again relating more to the twenty episode series one than the following two.

Also just finished season 4 of The Handmaid's Tale. We would not have thought that this could still be improving, thinking it has shown its best and we will just coast through season 4. But we both thoroughly enjoyed the stories going on throughout this season, both with June's personal struggles and also that of Gilead, the cracks are forming. Excellent series and thankfully picked up for another season.
