The 12600k has decent multi threading going for it beating the 5800X in most workloads so it still offers good value to those who want to do more than just game but the 5600X is doesnt have that advantage and is really being shown up here.Yeah Intel will now have the problem AMD had due to how good the B660/12400 could be, it makes the 12600K/Z690 look like utter rubbish value, even more so if you want DDR5. Board, CPU and RAM for about £40 more than just a CPU, and you get a cooler thrown in.
I wonder what restrictions will be placed on the B660 UEFI with regards to power limits, and RAM overclocking, if there are none then it's great news for budget buyers.
