Liverpool have two training grounds dont they?
No, they have one training ground where the first team and the academy are based.Liverpool have two training grounds dont they?
I personally find it hard to believe that Klopp has suddenly gone from the squad he had on Sunday to not even being able to field a side 2 days later.
If the postponement is granted and then Liverpool put out kids against Shrewsbury 3 days later then they should forfeit the tie as it becomes obvious they’re gaming the system.
You're sounding more than a bit paranoid now. The training ground has been shut because after multiple positive tests yesterday (on the back of at least 7 in the days before), there have been even more positive tests last night and this morning. The club will have to prove these positive tests to the EFL so it's not as if they're faking it.Bit of a coincidence training ground has now been shut, nothing to do with putting more pressure on getting the game cancelled at all............
Its not even about this game, its about Klopp wanting to have a player break in this busy period and reset his squad for the rest of the season, this was the week to do it.
I would expect them to say they have no fit goalkeepers next throughout the whole club if shutting the training ground does not work.
All clubs are looking for an advantage anyway they can, Liverpool are not the first and won't be the last to use covid as an excuse to put them in a better position later on.

"Confirmation now that 1st leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final has been postponed; EFL have granted Liverpool’s request but Liverpool have now forfeited home advantage for second leg. First game at Anfield on Jan 13, return at The Emirates on Jan 20 "
Klopp has already said he doesn't want games postponed, he said he didn't want the PL stopping for a week or two weeks when a host of other managers did, so why now does he want a game called off?
Klopp says a lot of things to the media, he is very good at playing them to his own advantage and all behind a big smile. He is a great manager, no denying it but he is also very devious in the way he portrays himself to the press which gets him away with an awful lot that others would n't.
