Especially as it seems Ukraine has at least some AD left and fighter aircraft.

There was some sporadic streaks of missiles which went over shortly after as well - but seems an oddly isolated incident so far. (Possibly other AD units also trying to hit it or other aircraft/missiles - though rather delayed).

Reports are it was an aircraft shot down. Russia are doing strange things. Really no sense to a lot of what they are doing.

If Ukraine is put into NATO, tomorrow the British military will knocking on your door, give you a gun and ship you off to Eastern Europe. That's if Russia hasn't already nuked you in your sleep tonight

I can't message anyone for some reason just says "You are not authorised to join the Members Market" though I've had access for years.

Seems to be that the Russians keep telling themselves that Ukrainian air defences are down....then getting caught out by them, time and time again, such as the ****-show by the VDV at Gostomel. Wonder what's going on?
 
CNN is claiming it was a Ukrainian SU-27 that got hit - though claims it was hit by Russian AA from outside Kyiv which seems odd as the videos appear to show outgoing AD - unless they were targetting something else.

Unless it was a Ukrainian SU-27, hit by friendly fire. It doesn't make much sense to me for Russia to push an aircraft out over a hostile capital on it's own like that, you'd be basically sending it to get shot down. Unless you thought your enemy's air defences were down.
 
I don't understand how this has gone for Russia.
If they have air superiority why are they not constantly flying sorties.
Why is there such a small use of cruise missiles and alike
Why are we seeing footage of relatively minute ammounts of loses.(thank god?) I mean a tank and an IiFV here and there?
It just all seems so misinformed.
This constant stream of unverified and unconfirmed raw Twitter is utterly bewildering.
I wonder if today will develop more conventionally?
