Hopefully all the drivers just say no, I think Vettel has already said he won't race there if it goes ahead.

It's nowhere near the full extent of their army, the latest analysis has them taking Kyiv by the end of today. The Ukrainian resistance might delay that slightly but it looks inevitable now.

Nope, the best thing to do is just to leave him to it. Not a desirable or good option, but it's the best that we can do.
Indeed, it doesn't prevent banks making payments in and of itself but makes them significantly more expensive, time consuming and complicated, it would be complete chaos in the Russian banking system. Akin to supermarkets no longer taking card payments/cash only, it wouldn't stop you buying but the logistics involved for all parties at essentially zero notice would be very disruptive, that comes at a cost the longer it goes on.
Russia made it's own domestic equivalent after Crimea but only 500 firms signed up and is basically only used within the country for domestic transactions.

Romania is a member of NATO, Russia attacking them would invoke Article 5. Attacking Ukraine as a direct neighbour is one thing, steam rolling his way through Europe is another.
Alas this war is a Marathon, not a sprint. Look at how “easy” it was to take over Iraq and Afghanistan and then look what happened next. I suspect that is what Ukraine is banking on and planned for. Some good news - there was some footage of a Russian tank running over a car, the driver survived, seems to be in good condition (albeit trapped) and they were able to rescue him, car obviously crumpled:
