We cannot allow this, at all.

If that’s his motive he basically has the EU by a noose and can dictate to bordering countries at will.

He can’t be allowed to further dictate who and who does not join nato. We will end up in a War One way another going down that road. We will likely end up in a war anyway with rhetoric like that.

I think we needed a more robust response to this. It's a shame the US doesn't have a stronger president that would have authorised at least air support. The EU have been pretty weak too due to their over reliance on Russian gas to pee them off with banishing them from Swift.

You would have thought he (or they) will have made arrangements for whoever would be likely hostage candidates. I also think he will bail out at some point. He has to really, all well and good with the hero stuff, but someone has to lead the govt in exile.

People are living in a fantasy land if they think Poland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Romania are under any threat. I'm sure 100k NATO troops could arrive in any of those countries within 48 hours if needed. I'm sure all of them will add NATO troops and more hardware in the coming months to let Russia know the score.

Unless the EU have their own army properly sorted and ready to take unilateral action as a whole block then they only have the US to rely on which isn't happening under Biden.

The tank appeared to have a range of 360 degrees to choose from rather than driving straight at the car though.
