Political suicide for him. I wouldn’t put it past him but it’s no longer a liberation mission then. It will just get really messy for Russia.
 
The problem with an EU army is that the Ukraine isn't a member of the EU, despite them wanting to become a member. The same with Nato. They tried to join that organisation too.

There is a lot of fake concern with some of the western leaders as they could have helped Ukraine out years ago.

No but seriously, I dont want to work alongside people who dont want to be there. You'd have to keep the National service seperate from the professional forces.
The latest generation coming through the doors are difficult enough to motivate.:cry:

This is the half hearted **** that is all over this thread. Go pick arms and go fight rather than egging **** on from the safety of your house.

Yeah it would be nice if rag tag rebel army fights back a larger force and wins but this isn't star wars this is the real world, why send people to die just to slow the Russians down for a few hours, when it is clear they are not going to win.

On all the streams I have watched nothing has happened other than the occasional air skirmish, no signs of anything on the ground.

The 5 feeds that were up last night are now all down.

True, modern armies always win insurgencies that's why Vietnam and Afghanistan were such great successes for the Americans, you seem to have a good grasp on history there...
