It wouldn't happen (they'll still have China etc) but just imagine (and this wouldn't happen either) if every "Western-Culture" country banned/blocked everything Russian, I mean from little things like every Russian sports team/sports-person banned from every competition or every "international" event is removed from being hosted in Russia, to huge things like every airline/shipline/trainline etc all just stopped going to Russia etc. I think Russia would quickly look inward at a way of solving their problems.

One thing I'm surprised hasn't happened so far inside Russia is the the "unfiltered" internet is still working. I think having so much internet access nowadays makes "pulling the wool" over your countrymen's eyes (or hiding obvious dissent) far harder to do. It'll be interesting to see if there's much change in everyday Russians reactions once the body-bags start coming home?
I don’t think China want this either. Seeing the mess this is for Russia I expect China are having doubts about fighting Taiwan.

They are great in a City, they have soft launch so you can use it from a room in a building , run away, dispose of it elsewhere, use plain clothes, hide.
Nightmare to get sniped by one of those and i bet the Russians have eaten quite a few of them already.

When was the last time you used one?

Yeah but Putin can’t launch them on his own without others assistance. He’s mental, but those around him aren’t.

I know that but even here in the West, the people have the responsibility to actually push the figurative button are trained to push it on command, no questions asked, you don't think somebody like Putin wouldn't put people in place he absolutely trusts would do this without question or thought ?

Yep- hard to invade a city when you don't know who is friend or foe. Harder to attack when you know people are defending their homes/homeland.

I suspect Sweden (SAAB who make the Bojifors/NLAW) want to send a message to the Russians about what weaponry they could encounter if they invade.

UN vote about to start. Russia expected to veto but China may abstain. That’s not a good sign for Russia.

That is what I would fully expect. China doing what China wants todo and if that means leaving MoscowPutin to rot then so be it. China can invade once the troops are gone.

Going to be interesting if China abstains rather than votes against in tonights UN vote...

They are in support of Russia in reality. They are pushing for peace talks, which is what Russia is trying to do.

Tell them to GTFO of Ukraine is more of a statement. I would be surprised if they don't support them etc.

Interesting development...
A number of Russian websites, including the government and Kremlin sites, appear to be offline.

Media websites like RT and the Moscow Times also appear to be down, according to the IsItDownRightNow site.

For those that might be interested. Spoke with a friend who is a guide for the zone but also works at the power plant. He said there was no fighting. The Russians told the workers they could carry on as normal and allowed them to contact their families. They can't leave because the train isn't running. It passes through Belarus to Slavutych. The slight increased radiation was from the tanks churning up the ground.
