In spite of the positive vibe from the news. Why do I get the feeling that the other shoe is about to drop. It's a marathon, not a sprint and I hope there is the same level of courage and fightback if/once cities fall and the president is gone.. It feels a little(although not a good analogy at all) like When England went 1-0 up in the Euro final...

I kind of get the using older tech in the expectation the good stuff won't need to be risked, but the supply issue is inexcusable regardless of how fast you think the conquest will go, you still need ammunition and fuel if there's an insurgency after winning the war, it is utterly unfathomable they would not have a plan for after they "win" the intial war

I can't believe Putin & Russia could be so stupid on this
:eek::D

They'll only have had a few days food on them as well.

I'm guessing the Ukrainian Twitter account has got hacked and is asking for BTC/ETH donations?:

Edit: They've deleted the previous tweet and made a new one now, quite sure they've been hacked.

Edit2: Nevermind.

theres a video showing inside one and it has like 1940s chairs from a bus station or something :cry:
If it's the one I'm thinking of that's an APC, some of which most likely are from the 70s. They're just lightly armoured transports that can be air dropped. Russia hasn't bothered upgrading/replacing them as they're just for transporting troops and Russia has never considered its troops worth the cost of protecting :(

How can this possibly come to a peaceful end?

The only way I can see a Russian retreat occurring would be for the party or whoever to remove Putin and other high ranking officials. I just can't see how this would end any other way.

The guy has lost the plot - he implied the use of nuclear weapons,if anyone else got involved.

Their whole economy is going down the drain,and even Chinese banks have seemingly adhered to the sanctions.

Most analysts believe Russia thought this would be all over now. The fact that its a marathon actually goes against them due to intentional pressure and rearming.
Zelenskyy has proven that he is a true leader which is huge for moral. Meanwhile if reports are true a lot of the Russian soldiers are just confused about what they are even doing attacking Ukraine.

wonder if we're going to see the Chinese step in one way or another,

either to tell mad Vlad to calm down a bit or maybe just maybe have a crack at the russians themselves.
anyone ever read bear and the dragon? perfect opportunity for a land grab
