Extremely handy bit of kit for fighting armour in urban environments due to them being a soft launch weapon able to be fired from enclosed spaces.
Says the very nature of blockchain. Nobody controls it, it cant just be turned off or banned from use.

So if the gov in the UK bans it like china has.

Looks like some form of Swift ban might actually be happening. Sounds like Germany have had enough.
Yeah, you can't close down the chain. You can ban Visa, Mastercard, etc. from processing payments to and from any company that handles crypto/NFTs, ban companies from holding any value in it, and so on. The functional effect of which would be to completely devalue the market and turn it off. Remember that, despite the name, cryptocurrencies aren't currencies they're simply tools for speculation that enable a whole bunch of shady stuff.
Frankly, governments have waited far, far too long to act on crypto so at least it'd be a small good to come out of it.

The big organisations that have invested in it. Plus the millions of ordinary people who would lose savings if they did it. But as @kindai said its not under the control of any government, yes they could make it hard to trade but the whole idea was that it wouldn't be controlled by governments or central banks.
Right and? Then they just go to another country where its still tradable.
The better actions would be to flag Russian held cryptos and once they hit exchanges / brokers seize them.

Probably is but Putin knows he overplayed his hand with the threats. There’s not much he can really do about it without obliterating Russia in the process.
That would create many more issues than it would solve.
Just sums up this mess. I saw that video tooJust saw the video of the broken down tank and Ukrainian car driver asking them if they want a ride- the Russians seemed to have no idea where they were going. The whole thing is bizarre.
