I think it's deliberately designed to boost morale in Ukraine so they know the world is helping in some way, and hurt Russian morale as they know it will be a difficult war of attrition.

You're not going to feel great crossing the border as a 20 year old lad in your knackered 80s tank knowing theirs thousands of AT missiles distributed across Ukraine waiting for you.

100% Finland should join NATO, Russia been poking for so long, about time we poked them back.

Surprised Finland wasn't already, from what I understand the Finnish people hate the Russians.

If you think NLAWS are destructive, wait until you meet my MLAW!

Absolutely obliterating the Russian armor.

I think that’s the thing that’s really ****** Russia, they would have thought air superiority would have come with ease, but not managing that has knocked all their plans

It's only going to get worse by the looks of it. No point having hundreds of attack helicopters if they can't go anywhere near populated centres because of all the MANPADS. Ukraine aren't going to playing pitched battles in the countryside.

I know NATO say they are keeping out of it, but they're not really are they...
Might as go the whole hog and do a no fly zone over Ukraine. Judging by the Russian performance so far I would back our jets over theirs...
Problem with that is it would work massively in Russia's favour as Ukraine are currently winning the air and anti-air war xD

Probably the most incredible and outnumbered battled in WW2 was between Russia and Finland. Finland smashed them. Read about the Finnish skier that ate his entire troops methamphetamine stash

Yeah it's good in that respect, just a very fine line to tread with Putin. I'm glad to see it though as despite Ukraine not being in NATO, this is fight for freedom.

Oh dear what will Russia do now?

Its a multi step process but a mate who lives in Finland just said this means it will go to parliament who will hold a non-binding referendum to see what the public will is and then most of the time the result of that gets enacted.

According to him, everyone he knows wants the country to join NATO now after seeing what happened in Ukraine.

you watch these battle videos and one wonders, they look like they have been fighting for ages, tanks explode - bullets flying and a guy just walks past with a javelin on his shoulders....WTF????

Yeah exactly, alongside the guy filming laughing hysterically and screaming insults about Russians. WTF indeed!

Germany sending 1000 anti tank and 500 anti aircraft missiles.
How are they gong to send all the gear in the country? Ukraine is big, from Lviv it's about a 5 hour drive to Kyiv by car and were talking moving heavy military equipment across a warzone which could get intercepted by missile, aircraft etc at any time.

Apparently they have supply throughout the country. No further detail given obviously
