If the Russians have to take the fight to the Ukranians in Kiev its going to be bad for the Russians. I don't think this is going entirely well for Putin.

I would have thought trotting around the streets of Kiev would be absolute death trap for the Russians with the launchers and sniper rifles they’ve been sent

Given Gasprom's failure and I would assume almost short term bankruptcy I would expect Putin would blame him rather than himself.

One thing I've wondered about all these supplies, where are they actually coming from ? Current stock of NATO military supplies or surplus supplies ? Perhaps IF Putin has any plan, it's to weaken the West by making them burn all their supplies giving them to the Ukrainians

If Putin attacks any NATO country or even a plane or ship belonging to them it really will be game over for him, he's crazy for sure but not that crazy. Hes struggling to take Kyiv, so he talks a good game, but in reality he would stand no chance and his army would be decimated fairly rapidly.
 
Putin has had it now. Utterly no respect for him ANYWHERE! He has destroyed any respect Russia had too.

I be surprised if he lasts much longer in office. If he does, and things dont start going his way, he may press the wrong buttons!

That takes a crap load of training and the US can’t risk it falling into enemy hands. I think there’s probably an unwritten line somewhere too.

IMO Putin "escalated" when he INVADED ANOTHER COUNTRY.

Maybe?
