Well the Russians want to take control of the country, not cripple it beyond repair by destroying power stations, you would also have millions with no power which would be devastating in the long term.

No China isn't happy with this war at all, they will not help.

China rely on Ukrain for iron ore, corn and sunflower oil. As well as that they sell billions to Ukrain every year.

This war has not gone down well with China at all.

They are trying to get Putin to negotiate.

Will Putin survive this huge gamble

Not a chance if he loses, all his cards are on the table with this one.

China abstained from condemning what Russia is doing in the in security council. Along with India and Arabs.

It was interesting watching Jon Stewart talk about events today, he mentions if there's any reason for the social media algos to actually do something good for a change and make one thing go viral, that this should be it. I fully agree.

Super valid point about all the videos of Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people where they are talking to the camera etc, these videos have been of an uplifting nature and talking with strong spirits rather than talking with hatred. Yes they are angry and sad, but they are speaking with heart and loyalty to their country without losing their minds. Says a lot in itself.
