We're not quivering. Not afraid. Just very open in what we think of Truss, who is demonstrating by example why she's not fit to lead even kindergarten.

Indeed, because if we piled in they would have got obliterated, so had to go big from day 1.

Imagine if they they took Ukraine in the matter of days, then we would need to go fight Russia directly, which ain't going to happen but this was the hope, Russia can then negotiate from a position of massive power.

Wasn't it deemed illegal for Syria (joining the 'good guys')? It seems recent Foreign Secretaries and miscalculations are getting worse after Johnson and his complete **** up with Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe.
 
If she's not resigned she should be forced to, that comment was she made was completely unnecessary as anyone who were wanting to go would have gone regardless.

The Kremlin in it's infinite paranoia will have taken it far more implicatively regarding actual NATO forces.

When Nukes are on the table, which they were the minute Putin said about "consequences never seen in history”, you have to be careful what is said as any miscalculation can lead to escalation.

What she initially said (before rolling back her comments slightly) was a miscalculation we didn't need.

Ahh she has a history of using tax payer money to pay for Instagram photoshoots (not just this time either).

Just because the Ukraine has a professional comedian being a hero, doesn't mean she can use it as a #metoo. She's a disgrace.

At the time I guarantee Biden's diplomatic team were onto No10 going "WTF?" and they probably have been pressuring for her to be put in muzzle and locked away from any communication device.
I suspect Boris wasn't particularly impressed either.

Wasn't it Truss who before all of this said the UK would never recognise Rostov and somewhere else in Russia as Russian and our ambassador had to correct her? Assuming that's true anyway she shouldn't be anywhere near the conversations imo

Isn't that the whole thing with his current cabinet though? One goes down, especially the likes of her with her leadership ambitions - they all might go down. With the odd exception like Gavin Williamson, though I heard he might be offered a peerage to keep his dirty secrets locked down.

Edit - however moronic she is, the nuclear threat story so far seems plucked out of thin air.

Yep, an absolute moron. She can't even fall back on doing it, so that individuals can't be made stateless upon return, etc., as that was likely never going to be the case.

There's obviously a long chain of events in these situations, but it only takes one person or event sometimes to tip things over the edge.

As much of a clown as people think Boris may be, he's been super careful with his words during all of this and, dare I say it, came across very well.
