If the Kremlin knew what most ordinary brits think of her, they’d probably just laugh and ignore her from now on
As much of a clown as people think Boris may be, he's been super careful with his words during all of this and, dare I say it, came across very well.
Well done Liz.
Fair enough, maybe it's more than what I read but really it's like "I'm going to nuke you because she said this"When Nukes are on the table, which they were the minute Putin said about "consequences never seen in history”, you have to be careful what is said as any miscalculation can lead to escalation.
What she initially said (before rolling back her comments slightly) was a miscalculation we didn't need.

They more times they threaten it without doing it, the less effect those threats will have.Fair enough, maybe it's more than what I read but really it's like "I'm going to nuke you because she said this".
Seems Putin has to go one way or another now so this is a risk going forward and no doubt the nuclear threat will be reissued whenever Russia pleases
Boris has never been a clown, he's always been very good at acting like one. In reality he's a shrewd, intelligent, and utterly ruthless politician. The clown image is just camouflage to disarm people.

Source: https://theconversation.com/how-russia-ukraine-conflict-could-influence-africas-food-supplies-177843There is significant agricultural trade between countries on the continent and Russia and Ukraine. African countries imported agricultural products worth US$4 billion from Russia in 2020. About 90% of this was wheat, and 6% was sunflower oil. Major importing countries were Egypt, which accounted for nearly half of the imports, followed by Sudan, Nigeria, Tanzania, Algeria, Kenya and South Africa.
Similarly, Ukraine exported US$2.9 billion worth of agricultural products to the African continent in 2020. About 48% of this was wheat, 31% maize, and the rest included sunflower oil, barley, and soybeans.
The news out of Ukraine seems to have really slowed down today. Yesterday it was relentless.
Wondering whether this is a good thing or a bad thing.
Probably bad. I wonder how much communication infrastructure is left in the capital.

Interesting that 30% of China's livestock food comes from Ukraine. So that represents a serious stability issue for them.
That really surprises me, I always thought that China was self sufficient on this sort of stuff
For a billion people? They were always going to be reliant on the outside World.
Yeah I just always assumed those 1.5 billion people were able to produce enough livestock feed themselves
