Whilst it can happen through certain procedures, I would think that it would not.
Effectively removing them will cut off one of the most important means of diplomatic communications with Russia and will just go to escalate the situation further and one path of de-escalation would have been removed. effectively cutting ones nose off to spite the face. The whole point of the UN in the first place was to have a safe diplomatic forum where ALL nations friendly or not could discuss situations like this.

Someone asked this on LBC last night to Ian Duncan Smith. He said it wouldn't work as you would have to throw out the whole UN character and rebuild it which would be impossible.

It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

When the elephants fight, the grass gets trampled.

Discuss yes, veto no.... keep them in the UN but suspend their veto.

I found the video I mentioned earlier. This was the video of when Putin was discussing going in to those 2 rebel held areas to defend them. But it looks like they knew it was the start of something bigger.

Yeah Putin 'War Chest' is going to pretty bare when hyperinflation hits and the Rubel is basically worthless and all of his Central Bank foreign reserves are frozen/useless.
