Everyone understands that.

I'd rather that than just let him have whatever he wants.

Indeed we should keep talking, but everything to date just seems to be a distraction whilst forces on the boarder got bigger and bigger.

We do need to find a way of him backing down, but I don't think he will till he gets what he wants.

The UK could do the same to all that matters in Russia.

The last time to sort this out was in 2014 unfortunately.
 
Liz Truss spoke well I felt.

I tried to summarise some key points she mentions:

we will go further...
two new sanctions
1: New powers against Russia's financial sector. Powers from clearing payments in sterling. Coordinate with US to stop them trading with world. Square bank will get this.
Full asset freeze on VEB, Sov com bank, Alscreter (sp?). Full asset freeze on Russian banks within days.
2: Ban exports to Russia. Includes high end micro electronics.

Appreciates affect on UK businesses but will be supported through this.
Response will be raised even further with more sanctions. Will continue through "hitlist" of oligarchs.

Putin just reminds me of the guy riding his bicycle that puts a stick in his front wheel, falls off and then blames someone else...
 
You have to wonder if he believes the words he’s saying, it’s so ridiculous. According to him the Russians are attacking in Ukraine in self defense.

Now he’s blaming the West of inciting Ukraine.
