You would prefer the UK get nuked and we all die rather than disarm Ukraine ? what a bizarre thing to say.
I think it would help some of us to go out for a walk in the park and breathe some fresh air.

That isn't what i said is it. It isn't the UK's or Russia's choice whether Ukraine disarms or not.

This is about standing up to a dictator invading another country for expansionist/nationalistic regions. We know how that ends up if appeased.

Putin is empire building. Will he stop if you let him have his way in Ukraine. And will you look Ukraine in the eye afterwards?

He’s right though, we have already said we won’t deploy troops to force Putin to back down so if we want the conflict to stop we have to give Putin an option where he gets to end the conflict and sell it to himself as something other than humiliation other wise he will simply carry on escalating which helps nobody and costs both sides lives and billions of pounds. Dialogue is the only way this ends as we are rightly not willing to kick start world war three or do you have another suggestion?

He's using violence and threats of violence to get what he wants and it seems to be working on you.

History is littered with people who thought they could appease violent aggressors.

Wasn't it Neville Chamberlain who declared "Peace in our time"? Why do people still fall for this crap?

The UK won't get nuked. Why should Ukraine disarm? I see no valid reason for this.

There is no way for this to end without humiliation to Putin. He is already humiliated.

Agree.
He has to not feel Humiliated. I'd happily make a compromise to avoid nuclear war.
 
There's some disgusting displays of cowardice in this thread, utterly pathetic. And it's not even our country getting invaded.
