Pretty sure it doesn't meet the entrance criteria, perhaps one day? But as the world has gone fairly crazy, who knows.

There is a mutual defence agreement amongst EU members but I'm not sure how strongly worded it is.

I would suspect they are going big now to overwhelm Ukraine as they will keep resupplying. I really hope there is a surprise waiting for them.
