Good point I have 6 bottles of red wine squirrelled away under the stairs (I mean bomb shelter). But I bet the dons don't want us drunken posting..
Tbh, if it's causing you a lot of anxiety, then maybe don't watch the news, or read this thread. Sometimes it can be better not to know.

Dunno like, could get a few danger strokes in.
Maybe the grain and potatoes are being reserved for food, given the potential state of the economy.
They can barely withstand them now and it's only bee 3 days.
The ones who managed to get money out see it deflated to practically nothing, the interest rate has shot up to 20% so the country will be bankrupt in a week.
Fighting a war is one thing, paying the price for it is another.
Their only out is Putin tactically withdrawing and claiming something to save face and try and recover when sanctions are lifted.
Putin being removed from office
or nuclear armaggedon as the last desperate attempt from an evil dictator.

Perhaps medicinal and military use only. Most of the Russian stuff I've seen is 40%, so it would work for both. Also alcohol can increase the issue of cold weather and hyperthermia.

IIRC they had built up at 1/3 GDP reserve in metals etc but that requires trade.
I suspect Putin is attempting to starve everyone then will appear as the rescuing angel by arranging food ration distribution to save everybody.
The chances of that happening are incredibly low. Even Putin knows it would mean the end of the civilised world as we know it.
Bear in mind that the powers that be are doing absolutely everything to avoid this while also trying to dampen Russia's actions.
Worst case scenario, OK, let's say it DID happen. You would either die very quickly or have to stay indoors for a couple of weeks while the fallout clears.
