Have you ever.....

There was a girl in school who I fancied badly, all the lads did. Looked her up a few years back and she was awful.

5ft tall, massive backside, ridiculous implants as big as party balloons, radioactive orange skin from too much fake tan, face full of Botox with lips like a peanut allergy victim who had fell into a vat of dry roasted. Her nails were like eagle talons with green nail polish and hoop earrings you could use as basketball hoops. This was all topped off with peroxide blonde hair that looked like a troll doll after a weekend bender.

She now also has the obligatory 3 kids and a part time job as a nail technician

I did a few years back, I was your typical Nerd/Geek but I refused to lack confidence and probably brought too much attention from everyone. there was this girl who stood me up when I was 16, 20 years later we started to chat again on facebook and it turns out she stood me up because of peer pressure and she did actually want to go out with me. She wanted to try again but by now she was a ham planet with 3 kids lol, I noped out of that

The girl in focus of my original post is not quite a ham planet but rough as a badger's behind, 4 kids, 3 different dads (going on surnames).

If there was any photos of girls I knew at school they would be taken with a Kodak Brownie camera in black and white and sitting in someones dressing table collecting dust.

I like the way some posts describe there ex's -Perhaps people should look in a mirror first :D
Ham Planet :):)

Not many details to add really. We split up because her family were relocating to the other side of the world. She was pregnant when we split, but neither of us knew this.

Wow, that’s mental. I suspect this goes on quite a lot and we just don’t know or hear stories of it.

I’d be furious, she could have let you know once she found out? It’s brutal but you could have at least had a relationship with the kid even if she was at the other side of the world…

Still with mine. We split up for a period of about 10 years after I moved away to uni (and she was in the year below), but met up again by chance about 12 years ago and ended up back together.

I had kind of the opposite - was friends with a girl at school who used to fancy me a lot, but I was never that interested in her and while she didn't have a bad personality there were some less desirable sides to it. A few years after leaving school I ran into her again and she'd gone from plain to incredibly hot and had matured a lot as a person. She was in a long term relationship at that point.

I've always found it a bit funny how things worked out in the long run vs school days though i.e. the "power couple" who you'd think were destined for great things and now barely a step removed from being your average chavvy family, the guy who no one would think would make anything of himself who went on to become the owner of a successful electrical company with 100s of employees, etc. etc.

From school? No. I did not have long term relationships till my twenties. Still in contact with a few; all very amicable and even go for an occasional dinner for catch-ups / review of the times etc.

Friend zone in reverse!
It's certainly interesting when I comment on such things with close male friends (of which I only have a few). Most of which have zero relationship / contact with ex-partners with the exception where children are invovled. One even goes as far as to think it's "weird" and is adamant I must still be banging these women.
