This must be a nightmare for Putin.
-Terrible military tactics on display
-Russian soldiers giving up/hearts not in it
-Ukraine population absolutely not laying down quietly and getting occupied without stiff resistance
-Zelensky seen as a brave hero everywhere but Russia
-Currency becoming more and more worthless every day
-Expelled from every significant sporting event
-Large international companies pulling everything out of Russia all the time

Why half the things I have found out hours or even full days before the normal news has reported it? There is a lot of junk to sift through no doubt.

in all seriousness though, if Putin decided to nuke the UK its unlikely he would only drop one nuke slap bang in Trafalgar Square, he'll likely carpet London with around 5 to 10 nukes.so this is why russian convoy doesnt seem to move much

Have to say I'm impressed with these Ukranians.
Putin must be ******.
They are key to shutting this down. They’ll need to lean on Russia a bit to see sense though. How they will get Russia to pull out is going to be the biggest challenge.

We don't expect war in peaceful, prosperous Europe, which has not seen a significant conflict since that little bit of awkwardness resulting from the implosion of Yugoslavia. We do expect war in developing nations that have been at war with each other for most of the past 100 years, particularly nations in Africa, which have a proud history of slaughtering ethnic and religious minorities from the precolonial era right up to present day.
It is shocking to see war in a country where entire generations have never experienced war. It is not shocking to see war in countries where war has been a common event for many years.
We are not accustomed to seeing white, blue eyed refugees because that's not what you tend to find in the countries that are most frequently at war.
Central and Eastern Europe are notoriously racist towards non-whites, no surprise there.

I'm not sure if this is real or made up TBH but there's lots of chatter over the past few hours about a suspected large scale "Disinformation" attempt upcoming by Russia to claim that the Ukraine Government has surrendered and for all its military to stop fighting etc. Info came from the Ukrainian Defense Ministry but how true it is is unknown so far.

Russia have the S-550 missile system which is apparently capable of taking out satellites, ICBMs, and nullifying nuclear weapons. The project was fast-tracked by Putin but there's some ambiguity over whether it's been deployed yet or not.
This is where I think Putin might have an edge over the West and why he is being so brazen now, at this time of all times. He's had 8 years since Crimea and him having confidence in his fire power seems more likely a reason than failing health.
Before Russia invaded I thought the outcome would be determined purely by their missiles. It's disappointing that the EU are no longer supplying fighter jets, but even so Russia's missiles are basically kamikaze fighter jets and they have thousands of them.
It all comes down to the Ukranian's fighting spirit and how they can wage an asymmetric war.
