Scorecards basically show that judges agreed on 10/12 rounds. Only Rnd 4 seems particularly contentious. I rewatched it and It was a tight, scrappy round. Personally I thought Catterall had the better of that one. Rnd 12 was also in debate and similar. I haven't changed my view that Catterall deserved the win but I don't think its as big a scandal as some

Fury ain’t gonna retire that’s just the usual bull he spouts.

Usyks signed up to fighting in Ukraine though so not sure where/when the AJ fight is even gonna happen let alone a possible unification one which would be about the only worthwhile fight for Fury left.

Taylor landed more punches in one round. One. In the first 4 Taylor landed 20 less yet one judge gave him 3 of those rounds.

It’s absolutely a scandal and one that’s very damaging to the sport.
 
Lol what are the police going to do. Just stop your whining now. Taylor has opened himself to a rematch at a catch weight, take the fight and prove you won. It’s like listening to George Groves again until he got knocked out in the rematch.

The same Ward that had Taylor winning 3 of the first 4 rounds, lol at that. Think he's been going to the Ian John Lewis school of judging fights.

He also gave Taylor the 11th round with a total of 3 punches landed. How can he be scoring points if he's not hitting him?
 
The whole thing stinks even more now the BBBofC have agreed the scorecard was dodgy and IJL's refereeing status has been downgraded.

Nothing wrong with the above, it was the correct course of action, but to then say IJL's scorecard didn't effect the result of the fight, when it was a ******* split decision, is scandalous.
 
Yeah must admit I did have a chuckle at that, how on earth did it not affect the result of the fight? Bonkers thing to say.

The same Ward who was multi weight undefeated World champ. What does he know hey.

I just watched the 11th it was a close scrappy round with no one really doing much but you can give it to Taylor, purely on being the aggressor and pressing the fight.

But yeah agree with the BBBofC comments they’ve hardly covered themselves in glory. Let’s be honest Catterall deserves the win but so did Golovkin in the first Canelo fight, Marquez deserved to get more out of the Pacquiao quadrilogy, and so on so forth. One judge had Canelo winning against Mayweather in about as much of a one sided fight you can get. It’s happened before, it’ll happen again, it’s not a conspiracy or a robbery, Taylor was about as bad as you’ll likely ever see him and Caterell did ok. Taylor beats him in the rematch.

He might be a multi weight undefeated world champ but he's very much in the minority who thought Taylor won. His final scoring is similar to IJS who's been thrown under the bus.

Maybe himself and 2 of the 3 judges are right and the majority of the rest of the world is wrong.

The rematch won't happen because he will move up.
